Xin Zhao is a certified Mandarin–English community interpreter with ATIA based in Calgary, Alberta. Also, she is a certified member of ATIM for business travel since 2019.
Xin holds a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and has extensive experience in healthcare communication, medical and community interpreting, and post-secondary education. With more than 10 years of experience working in hospital settings—including internal medicine, outpatient care, and dialysis—she has a strong understanding of clinical workflows, medical terminology, and communication between healthcare professionals and Chinese-speaking patients.
She also teaches Traditional Chinese Medicine courses in English, including Chinese Materia Medica, herbal formulas, and internal medicine. Her primary areas of practice include healthcare and community interpreting, Traditional Chinese Medicine, holistic medicine consultation, and educational and training materials.
