Please note that the On‑dossier pathway is an alternative option when your language combination is not offered by CTTIC or when other circumstances make this route more appropriate. Members wishing to apply for ‘Certification by On-Dossier’ must:
- be a member in good standing with ATIA (paid their dues for the current year and has no pending disciplinary matters before ATIA)
- must live in Alberta and be either a Canadian citizen or Canadian permanent resident
- have selected the “Accept Membership Terms” on their website profile under “Contract”
- Before initiating the on-dossier certification application, you must satisfy the ATIA requirements outlined in the application instructions. Please submit your Wordcount or Hour Log sheet along with your proof of Alberta residency to the ATIA Administrative Assistant/Exam Coordinator for verification. The Administrative Assistant will then confirm your eligibility to proceed and provide payment instructions.
