The mandatory information session is for ALL candidates intending to register for the Associate level prerequisite examinations. These are the Code of Ethics examination, the English Proficiency examinations (reading comprehension for translators/interpreters and the editing examination).
All candidates MUST attend this online session in order to be eligible to register and write the examinations.
At this time ATIA’s Bylaws and Code of Ethics will be reviewed, language professions will be discussed, and the examination procedure will be described in detail.
The cost for this session is free but you MUST pre-register for the Zoom online presentation at the following link:

Candidates who do not attend the information session will NOT be allowed to register for the April 1, 2023 prerequisite examinations.

Note: You must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent resident of Canada to be eligible to take these examinations. Photo identification will be required to enter the examinations.
Registration for the spring Associate Level Prerequisite Examinations will open Feb 13, 2023. The Examinations will take place on April 1, 2023.
